Traditional weapons have a short range and therefore emphasize hunting. In-lines, telescopic sights, and pyrodex are used by people dissatisfied with the short range of traditional muzzleloaders. I believe that people who are shooting at long ranges are actually harming hunting in the view of nonhunters. I am going to expand on this, and point out how a traditional weapons hunting season will help the future of hunting out of all proportion to the numbers involved.
Come back in a couple of weeks, I’m off to a solo canoe trip into Canada.
